Learning the lessons from railway delivery projects

Project delivery is a complex mechanism. Some people may think it’s not but it is. One of the main reasons why it is complex is because project delivery involves people, their knowledge and how you manage, transfer, and apply it on your next project. We might deliver a successful project safely, to scope, on time, and on budget but once we go to another project, for some reason, the same approach doesn’t work.

There are several aspects to learning the lessons from project delivery but learning a lesson from rail project delivery is even more complex.  This presentation will outline some examples, and identify some of the helpful lessons learned.
